CENTER FOR NANOTECHNOLOGY & BIOSENSORS Research Lab pursues collaborative research in areas of nanotechnology and biological sciences. The Center promotes technological developments in the field of nanotechnology and biological science through applied research and education.
The Center works in joint collaboration with various educational and industrial partners. Major projects includes: Development and Testing of Bio MEMS device for active bacteria (E.Coli O157: H7) detection in beef, Solar cell designing using Nanoparticles.
The Center conducts educational workshops during the summer for K-12 Students, encouraging them to participate in fundamental Nanotechnology experiments designed specifically for understanding at the very basic level.
Supervised by Dr. Majed Dweik, the center promises to impound technological innovations through extensive applied research and education in the near future.
